Livi Perrone is currently studying at NYU Tisch in the Rita and Burton Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing. Her first original work titled “Wondering About Olive” was produced in New York City when she was thirteen years old. Since then she has written a number of adapted plays and musicals for young performers. She is the creative director and playwright in residence for the Riverside Theatre Arts company based out of upstate New York. Some of her works include “Happily the Musical,” “Scarlet,” and “Peter Pan, Flight to Neverland.” Throughout her career as a writer and an actress, she has received training in film and TV in addition to her extensive musical theater background.
Livi found her love for the dramatic arts at age 7 when she was cast in her first role as Marta in “The Sound of Music.” Since then she has made it her mission to create and develop entertainment that caters to young audiences. She believes that all young people should be encouraged to express themselves creatively in order to foster their love of the arts. Throughout her life, Livi has worked with incredibly diverse groups of people who have inspired her to create art that brings people together.
